DESCRIPTION:Repazs Band Concert – Community Arts Center\n10:00 – 11:15 Dress Rehearsal – Community Arts Center\n(Please do not report before 9:30)\n1:30 – Concert – Community Arts Center \nThe one-hour concert is FREE! Please invite family and friends. There will be breaks throughout at Col. Gabriel’s discretion. \nThe Repasz Band is seventy-five people from all walks of life and in most of life’s ages and stages! They are Musicians with a capital “M”! And whether we are accomplished amateur musical enthusiasts or professional musicians\, they are committed both to excellence in performance as well as expressing the joy of music! First and foremost they are committed to bringing our audiences the best\, most enjoyable musical experiences possible. \nThe Repasz Band brings to musical life old American park band shells with crowds lounging around on lawn chairs under the balmy summer sun. Red\, white\, and blue bunting is unfurled all around us as Old Glory soars above against a sapphire sky to the strains of the Star Spangled Banner and The Stars and Stripes Forever! And then later\, the fireworks start. We take the magnificent opulent stage at Williamsport’s own Community Arts Center in formal performance uniforms to raise soaring melodies and gorgeous harmonies of the absolute best in contemporary\, popular\, and traditional concert band music!  \nWhen parading with an international audience and the freshly luminous faces of Little League Baseball\, we bounce the strains of Take Me Out To The Ball Game off center city buildings\, as Williamsport Welcomes The World! We stand in heartfelt pride of American patriotism and provide the musical context for solemn Flag Day observances as we have for decades. We stand in musical solidarity with our Veterans and their associations as often as we can\, and are honored and privileged to be able to do so.
