Since the first event on June 24, 1990, The Billtown Blues Festival has been an institution in the Williamsport area. Since 1994 the festival has taken place at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville. Every year the festival continues to grow while maintaining its small-town appeal.

Aaron Kelly, from American Idol will perform a 3 hour country music concert in the Grand Ballroom of the Genetti Hotel on Friday, May 3 from 6-9 p.m. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the All-Inclusive Playground project underway for the Stevens Primary School in concert with the Kiwanis Club of Williamsport, Rotary Club of Williamsport, and the Williamsport Education Foundation.
